Can NetSuite Project Tasks Be Updated via CSV Import?
NetSuite's native CSV import tool supports creating new project tasks but does not allow updating existing ones.

NetSuite's standard CSV import tool does not support updating existing project tasks. While new project tasks can be added to a project record using the standard CSV Import, there is no native functionality to modify previously created tasks through a CSV file. Other methods may be required for updates.

However, attempts to update project tasks using NetSuite's standard CSV import functionality encounter limitations.
Solution
NetSuite's native CSV import tool currently does not support updating existing project tasks. While it is possible to add new project tasks to a specific project record using the standard CSV Import, the functionality for modifying previously created tasks via CSV is not available. Project tasks are also not presented as a sublist when importing project records. Although the NetSuite SuiteCloud Supported Records page may not explicitly detail this limitation, NetSuite's help documentation briefly mentions this constraint.
