How to Hide Unwanted Custom Item Number Fields in NetSuite Web Store?

NetSuite users may encounter an issue where an unwanted item number field, often a custom field, appears on all items displayed in their web store, including matrix items. This field is visible despite not being explicitly configured on web store templates, leading to a cluttered or incorrect display.
Solution
Identify the unwanted Item Number field on your web store. Inspecting the element will reveal if it starts with
cust_, confirming it as a custom field.Navigate to
Customization->List, Records& fields->Transaction Column Fields.In the list of transaction column fields, locate and click on the 'Item Number' field to open its configuration.
On the field's configuration page, scroll to the bottom. If the 'STORE ITEM' option is checked, ensure the 'HIDDEN' checkbox is also checked.
Save the changes to apply the modification. The Item Number field will no longer be displayed on your web store.
