How to Monitor Mass Update Progress in NetSuite When Multiple Updates Are Queued
Understand NetSuite's mass update concurrency limitations and how to check the status of your most recently submitted update.
Short answer
NetSuite processes mass updates sequentially, allowing only one to run at a time. When multiple updates are submitted, users can typically only view the progress of the most recently submitted mass update. There is no direct interface to view a queue of pending mass updates, although scheduled updates can be monitored.
Scenario
Users attempting to perform multiple mass updates in NetSuite may encounter situations where they cannot view the status of all submitted updates simultaneously. This often leads to confusion regarding which update is currently processing and the order of execution for subsequent updates.
Solution
NetSuite is designed to process mass updates one at a time. When multiple mass updates are submitted, only the most recently submitted update's progress can typically be viewed. The system does not provide a direct interface to view a queue of all pending mass updates. To check the status of the last submitted mass update, users can look for a button or link labeled 'Click To View The Details Of Your Last Mass Update' or similar phrasing, which will display the progress of that specific update.
