Why is KPI Scorecard Comparison Not Displaying Data in NetSuite?
NetSuite KPI Scorecard comparison issues often stem from incorrect summary types or extraneous date-related data rows.
Short answer
To enable KPI Scorecard comparison, ensure the summary type for metrics like 'customer' is set to 'Count', as 'Group' is incompatible. Additionally, remove the 'Date Created' row from the KPI definition. These adjustments are crucial for the comparison functionality to operate correctly within NetSuite.
Scenario
Users may encounter situations where the comparison functionality on a NetSuite KPI Scorecard does not display data or operate as expected. This typically occurs when attempting to compare metrics that are incorrectly configured. Specifically, certain summary types or the inclusion of particular data rows can prevent the comparison feature from functioning.
Solution
To resolve issues with KPI Scorecard comparison functionality, perform the following adjustments:
Change the summary type for the relevant metric (e.g., 'customer') to 'Count'. The 'Group' summary type is not compatible with comparison on a KPI.
Remove the row for 'Date Created' from the KPI definition.
