Can a Single NetSuite Sales Order Link Projects for Multiple Customers?

No, NetSuite projects are inherently linked to a single customer. Consequently, a sales order or invoice for a specific customer will only display and allow assignment to projects associated with that same customer, preventing the use of projects from multiple customers on a single sales order.
Scenario
A user attempts to assign projects from different customers to line items within the same NetSuite Sales Order. The expectation is to consolidate billing or tracking for various customer projects under one sales document, but the system does not present projects from unrelated customers for selection.
Solution
NetSuite's design dictates that each project is exclusively linked to one customer. When creating a sales order or invoice for a particular customer, the system will only display and allow the selection of projects that are directly associated with that specific customer. Therefore, it is not possible to assign projects belonging to multiple distinct customers on the line items of a single sales order.
