How to View and Export NetSuite Currency Exchange Rate History

To view the exchange rate history directly in NetSuite, follow these steps:

1. Navigate to Lists > Accounting > Currency Exchange Rates.

2. Click the "History" link at the top right of the page.This page displays all updates made to exchange rates and includes options for filtering by a limited date range.For exporting exchange rate information or creating a custom report with specific filtering capabilities, a workaround is documented in SuiteAnswer page

3. Alternatively, users can create a custom report (Saved Search) to extract this information:

4. Navigate to Reports > Saved Searches > All Saved Searches > New.

5. Select 'Currency Exchange Rate' as the record type.

6. In the Criteria subtab, specify the desired date range.

7. In the Results subtab, add the following fields: "Effective Date", "Exchange Rate", "Base Currency", and "Transaction Currency".

   Note that the "Base Currency" and "Transaction Currency" fields will display the internal ID rather than the actual currency name. To display the textual currency information, a formula field utilizing the DECODE function can be employed. For example, use a Formula (Text) field with a DECODE function similar to this:
