Why Are Enhanced Sales Center Roles Not Visible in NetSuite Manage Roles?
To make custom roles from the Enhanced Sales Center SuiteApp visible in NetSuite, adjust the bundle's display options.
Short answer
Custom roles from the Enhanced Sales Center SuiteApp are hidden in NetSuite's Manage Roles screen when the bundle's display options are set to 'Hide Components'. An Administrator can resolve this by navigating to the bundle settings, opening the 'Components' tab, and selecting 'Show Components' to make the roles visible.
Scenario
After installing the Enhanced Sales Center SuiteApp, administrators may find that the custom roles provided by the SuiteApp are not visible within the Manage Roles section of NetSuite. This occurs because the 'Display Options' for the Enhanced Sales Center bundle are configured to 'Hide Components' by default.
Solution
As an Administrator, navigate to
Customization > SuiteBundler > Search & Install Bundles.Open the
Enhanced Sales Centerbundle.Click the
Componentstab.Select
Show Components.Navigate to
Setup > Users/Roles > Manage Roles. The following custom roles should now be available:- Sales Admin - Enhanced Sales Ctr
- Sales Mgr - Enhanced Sales Ctr
- Sales Rep - Enhanced Sales Ctr
- Publisher - Enhanced Sales Ctr
