How to Automate Bin Selection and Display Bin Numbers on NetSuite Invoices?

To enable automatic pre-population of the preferred bin and quantity on item receipts:

1. Navigate to Setup > Accounting > Accounting Preferences.

2. Go to the Items/Transactions subtab.

3. Under the Inventory section, locate and enable the Use Preferred Bin on Item Receipts preference.

   This setting will automatically populate the preferred bin of the selected location in the Bin Numbers column on Item Receipts, pre-populating the fulfilled quantity without requiring manual entry. This preference is specifically designed for Item Receipts.

   To display only the bin number on the line item of an Invoice:

4. Customize the relevant transaction form for invoices.

5. Within the form customization, locate and tick Bin Numbers on the Printing Fields.

   While this setting may display only the bin number without the quantity, achieving precise display requirements for bin numbers on invoice line items often necessitates more advanced form customization, such as utilizing Advanced PDF/HTML templates or custom transaction line fields.
