How to Export a List of NetSuite Saved Searches with Their URLs
NetSuite users can generate a comprehensive list of all saved searches within their account, complete with direct access URLs, by leveraging a specific formula in a saved search.
Short answer
To export a list of NetSuite saved searches with their URLs, create a new saved search of type 'Saved Search'. Add a formula field to the results using CONCAT('https://[YOUR_ACCOUNT_ID].app.netsuite.com/app/common/search/searchresults.nl?searchid=',{internalid}), replacing [YOUR_ACCOUNT_ID] with your specific NetSuite account ID. This generates a clickable URL for each search.
Scenario
NetSuite users often require a method to compile a list of all saved searches within their account, including a direct URL for each. This need arises when administrators or developers wish to quickly access or share specific saved searches without manually navigating to each one.
Solution
To generate a list of saved searches with their corresponding URLs, follow these steps:
First, run any existing saved search within your NetSuite instance.
Copy the initial portion of the URL from the browser's address bar. This segment, typically https://[YOUR_ACCOUNT_ID].app.netsuite.com/app/common/search/searchresults.nl?searchid=, should be saved for later use.
Next, create a new saved search. Set the type of this new search to 'Saved Search' (a saved search of saved searches).
On the Results tab, add a new formula field. Use the following formula:
CONCAT('https://7144796-sb1.app.netsuite.com/app/common/search/searchresults.nl?searchid=',{internalid})Ensure to replace the 7144796-sb1 portion of the URL in the formula with the specific account ID of your NetSuite instance. This formula dynamically constructs the direct URL for each saved search listed in the results.
