  1. Create a Custom Field:

    • Navigate to Customization > Lists, Records, & Fields > Entity Fields > New.
    • Set the 'Type' to 'Free-Form Text'.
    • Ensure 'Store Value' is set to 'False'.
    • When configuring the custom field, note that the 'Validation & Filtering' section is now typically referred to as 'Validation & Defaulting' and 'Sourcing & Filtering' subtabs.

  2. Configure the Saved Search Column:
