ANS-1685 · ACCOUNTING & FINANCIAL CONFIGURATION
Why is a Bank Account Not Appearing in NetSuite’s Match Bank Data Page?
NetSuite's 2021.1 update introduced a required setting on account records to enable bank accounts for reconciliation and matching.
Short answer
Bank accounts may not appear in NetSuite's Match Bank Data page due to a required setting introduced in NetSuite 2021.1. To resolve this, navigate to the specific bank account record and enable the 'Use Match Bank Data and Reconcile Account Statement Pages' checkbox. This ensures the account is properly configured for bank feed functionality.
Scenario
After configuring the Bank Feed feature in NetSuite, users may find that their bank accounts do not appear as expected on the Match Bank Data page. This prevents the matching of bank transactions and reconciliation of account statements within the system.
Solution
As of NetSuite version 2021.1, an update was implemented that requires users to explicitly identify accounts for use with the Bank Data and Reconcile Account Statement pages. To make a bank account visible on the Match Bank Data page, the following action is required:
Navigate to the specific bank account record in NetSuite.
Locate the field titled "Use Match Bank Data and Reconcile Account Statement Pages".
Select this checkbox to enable the account for bank data matching and reconciliation.
